Con una misa, compartiendo el pan y la sal, además de un par de duelos amistosos, el club Escuadra Azul celebró el XLV Aniversario de su fundación, sobre la cancha del Estadio Metropolitano de ciudad Nezahualcóyotl.

Momentos emotivos y llenos de recuerdos se vivieron el pasado sábado 20 de julio, escribiéndose una página más en el libro de oro del futbol del llano, pues toda la familia de la Escuadra Azul disfrutó no solo del sentimental convivio, sino de las entretenidas anécdotas de distinguidos fundadores como Hilarión, Rafael y Efrén Cruz García, Ignacio Morales, Ernesto Villanueva, Antonio Escudero y Mario Guerrero, entre otros.

Desde luego también destacaron la presencia y liderazgo de quienes actualmente están al frente del club Escuadra Azul como don Pedro Balderas, Antonio Escudero y Fernando Cruz.

Como se sabe, la Escuadra Azul está afiliada la Liga Mayor de Aficionados, pero también debe recordarse su paso por la Liga Moctezuma, la Liga 20 de Noviembre, la Liga Regional del Sur, sin contar sus destacadas participaciones en los tradicionales torneos del futbol del llano.

¡Felices 45 años, pero esperamos que sean muchos más…!
